89'er Wagon Train Association
The Sooner, Teamsters & Trail Riders Association have two rides a year, one in April (a week long ride) and one in September (a three day cloverleaf). We travel horseback, muleback or in a wagon or buggy through the beautiful Oklahoma countryside from one camp ground to another. We have a bus that takes us from camp ground to camp ground moving our vehicles forward everyday, with a move up in the morning or afternoon. The morning bus leaves camp at 6:30 am and the evening bus leaves about 20 to 30 minutes after we arrive at camp in the afternoon. While on the trail, we have a morning and afternoon break in addition to a lunch break to give our animals a rest (be sure to pack something for lunch).
